Johnswood Childcare, Traralgon

Johnswood Childcare is a childcare playspace landscape design project in Traralgon, Victoria. Adaptive Landscape Design developed the outdoor environment for an early learning centre catering for 120 children, with age-based play areas, sensory play opportunities, secure zones and compliant landscape elements.

The landscape design was planned to support safe, engaging outdoor play for both 0–3 and 3+ age groups. Soft surfaces, clear zoning and practical circulation help create a functional childcare playspace that is easy to supervise and suitable for everyday use.

This Traralgon childcare landscape project shows how thoughtful playspace design can support early learning, movement and sensory development while meeting the practical requirements of a modern childcare centre.
